The House of Innovation is Nike’s new flagship store concept offering consumers a peek behind the curtain of their biggest innovation moments with personalised and digitally-connected shopping journeys.

Accept & Proceed worked closely with the Nike Retail Brand Design team in art directing and setting the tone for the House of Innovation brand. We created a flexible graphic system comprised of grids, bold headline typography and authentic sports research lab content that allowed us to build richly layered compositions that talked into the athlete-led design and prototyping process involved in the development of Nike’s most innovative products.

For the launch of the first House of Innovation in Shanghai we created moving image content for use across numerous applications throughout the store including a 4 storey high video wall, a custom Zoetrope installation and digital mannequin plinths. The videos tell the story of Nike’s design process from athlete insight and prototype testing through to the final product.

The store broke numerous Nike records for both footfall and sales during the opening weekend and attracted international press and social media attention.
